Website builder reseller: how reselling a builder works
Last updated
A website builder reseller is an agency that pays a builder's maker for a white label plan, puts its own brand on the builder, and sells the sites it makes there to its clients. The client sees your agency's name on the work. You or your staff still build each site, inside the maker's tools.
How does a website builder reseller program work?
You sign up for the maker's white label plan, brand the builder as your own, build client sites in it, and charge clients your own price. The maker supplies the software, and you supply the sites and the service.
- Pick a builder with a white label plan. Read its plan page and its terms first.
- Brand it as yours. Add your logo, colors and domain where the plan allows.
- Build each client site. Your staff do the building inside the maker's tools.
- Publish on the client's domain. Each site goes live under the client's own web address.
- Set your price. Charge each client for the build and any monthly plan you offer.
- Look after the sites. Support, changes and client questions come to you.
How much can carry your brand depends on the maker. Duda, one builder maker, says its whole platform can be white labeled: the builder, the dashboard, preview pages and platform emails. Brizy's terms say white label means offering its functions under your own brand. You own the customer relationship, and Brizy keeps owning the technology. For selling sites on a monthly plan, see how website as a service works.
What does a white label website builder for agencies include?
Duda's and Brizy's White Label plans each put the builder under your brand, include a set number of published sites, and charge a monthly price for each site past that number. Here are both plans, as each maker's pricing page showed them in October 2026.
| Builder | White Label plan price, billed monthly, as of October 2026 | Published sites in the plan | Each extra site | Also on the page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Duda | $199 a month | 4 published sites | $17 a month a site | Duda's yearly billing price is lower |
| Brizy | $159 a month | 10 websites | $8 a month a site | Hosting on AWS |
A maker's price can change with a sale, a sign-in or yearly billing, so check the page on the day you sign up.
Read who owns what, too. Duda's terms say Duda doesn't own the content put on sites built with it. Brizy's terms say you keep full ownership of the content you upload or create, and Brizy doesn't claim it. The maker keeps the platform and the code that runs it. On the fee alone, a builder plan costs less than DeskTeam360's Entrepreneur plan: $1,497 a month, with 1 task worked on at a time. They buy different things. A builder fee buys software your staff build in. A DeskTeam360 plan buys a team's time, a set number of tasks at once. For adding hands as the work grows, see how to scale a web design business.
Reselling a builder still means handing out tasks. DeskTeam360's Ultimate Task Delegation Template is free, it covers website builds among other work, and you get it with your email.
Which website builders offer white label options?
Duda and Brizy are two makers that sell White Label plans. Before you pick any builder, ask the same questions of each one.
- Does the white label plan cover the builder, the dashboard and the emails your clients see?
- How many published sites does the plan include, and what does each extra one cost?
- Who hosts the sites, and is hosting in the price?
- Who owns the content, and who owns the platform?
- What can you take with you if you leave the builder?
- Does the price change with yearly billing, a sale or the number of sites?
Builder fees are one part of what a client site costs to deliver. For the cost of one client site worked out each way, builders included, see What does one client site cost to deliver, each way, in California?.
A free template can help you hand out the build tasks behind each resold site. Get DeskTeam360's Ultimate Task Delegation Template by giving your email; website builds are among the work it's made for.
